RCIA
ARE YOU SOMEONE OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO…
● Has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic? ● Has a child over the age of seven who has not been baptized? ● Was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist?
We are looking for all those interested who wish to journey with the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
This process will provide an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about the Catholic faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of Church and prepare individuals to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. There are separate sessions for children and adults. You are welcome to participate in the process. If you have questions about RCIA, please contact Deacon Leo at 617-472-6321 or deaconleo@comcast.net.
If you are new to our parish please, introduce yourself to a member of the Pastoral Team after Mass. We want to know and serve you. We welcome you and invite you to become active members of St. Joseph’s parish community.

A Note from Jini Vickery ♫
Do you sing at Mass? I hope so. We are all called to participate fully in our Eucharistic Celebration- that means singing. When any one of us does not participate we are choosing to deny the rest of the Body of Christ our contribution. “You can’t sing”, you say? Well, the Psalmist never says sing beautifully. He only tells us to sing and to make a “joyful noise”. So, please consider adding your own “joyful noise” to the songs in our next celebration. However it sounds to you (or your neighbor), God will surely think it is beautiful.
Archdiocese of Boston Education Campaign The “Death with Dignity Act," if passed in November 2012 will legalize doctor-prescribed suicide in Massachusetts. Do you know about this law? Do you know how it will affect medical care in Massachusetts. Experts in medicine, law and ethics will explain how you can oppose doctor-prescribed suicide. Sign up for one of the workshops below today! Monday, May 21, 2012 St. John the Evangelist, Hopkinton 7-9pm Tuesday, May 22, 2012 St. Mary, Dedham 7-9pm (Mary Hall below main Church) Wednesday, May 23, 2012 St. Julia, Weston 7-9pm Thursday, May 24, 2012 St. Michael, North Andover 7-9pm Thursday, May 31st, 2012 St. John Chrysostom, West Roxbury, 7-9pm More to come.
