Religious Education

St. Joseph's Parish provides a family/community approach of teaching the Catholic faith to our young people in grades 1 – 10.  We offer Religious Education classes to children in grades 1-6 on Sunday mornings after the 8:30 am Mass.  Grades 7 & 8 will meet Sunday evenings from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm.  Grades 9 & 10 will meet Sunday evenings from 5:30 pm - 6:45 pm.

Important information for New Family Registrations 2011 / 2012

• Our Registration fees are as follows: $50 for one student, $80 for two, $100 for 3 or more in the same family.

• It is required that all students not baptized at St. Joseph's Church provide a Baptismal certificate at the time of registration.  If you do not have one on hand, contact the Church of Baptism and have them send one to us.

• Here at St. Joseph's, it is understood that attendance at Mass is a required part of our Religious Ed. program.  The 8:30 AM Mass on Sunday is our Family Mass.  Be sure to attend with your child.  Gathering as a parish family to hear the Word of God proclaimed and to celebrate the Eucharist is the core of our faith.  Your child needs to see others celebrating their faith in order to connect the classroom lessons to their lives.  Classes will begin in mid-September.  Watch the bulletin for announcements of opening sessions.

• Please consider volunteering in the Religious Education program.  We have many opportunities for you to get involved.
